The product lends itself to the lower ticket items. Is this to protect against a higher ticket item not selling?

I know a little about these advances and they seem to be quite common. The best anaolgy I can think of is that these are like to factoring arrangements for companies that have credit card sales instead of receivables. In either case, the business is paying to get future income fronted to them in order to not fall behind in the gap between billing and collection.

As a season restaurant owner, this seems like a product that might be able to assist my business in our slower times. Where can I find more information?

I am an accountant who sees many clients in need of working capital. This sounds like one of the most readily available methods of obtaining working capital, especially for companies that do volume credit card sales for relatively small ticket items.
